Staging is “preparing your home to become their home.”  We are skilled at maximizing attributes, minimizing flaws and defining spaces that will create an emotional attachment with buyers and draw them to your home. This translates into a quicker sale and a higher selling price!

Staging does not have to be costly. We will keep your budget in check by re-purposing  what you already have on hand before considering additional purchases. We will recommend the best ways to neutralize, de-clutter, and define rooms in order to transform your home into a memorable space that will attract buyers. If additional items are needed, such as accessories, artwork or new paint colors, Step One Staging is here to assist you in that process. And remember, the cost of staging your home is far less than the cost of your first price reduction!

Most people have a strong emotional attachment to their homes and being tactful and understanding is one of the things we do best. We will encourage you every step of the way, as we assist you in creating a home that will appeal to the broadest range of buyers. Half day basic staging (up to 4 hours): (Half day staging is a good option if you prefer to do more of the work on your own)

  • Initial walk-through with homeowner
  • Detailed written report outlining recommendations for each room, or selected rooms which will be highlighted for staging
  • One-on-one consultation with homeowner, outlining plans for staging
  • Assistance in prioritizing tasks, creating an action plan
  • Before and after photos

Full day in-depth staging (up to 8 hours): (Full day staging is a good option if you would like more hands-on help from our stagers)

  • Initial walk-through with homeowner
  • Detailed written report outlining recommendations for each room, or selected rooms which will be highlighted for staging
  • One-on-one consultation with homeowner, outlining plans for staging
  • Assistance in prioritizing tasks, creating an action plan
  • Assistance in selecting paint colors, flooring, countertops, accessories as needed (We will shop for you, or with you—whatever your preference)
  • Assistance in preparing your home for showing, including room arrangement, placement of artwork and accessories, all finishing touches
  • Before and after photos

Staging for vacant homes and model homes (half and full day rates apply):

  • Initial walk-through with homeowner or builder
  • Detailed written report outlining recommendations for each room, or selected rooms which will be highlighted for staging
  • One-on-one consultation with homeowner, outlining plans for staging
  • Assistance in selecting paint colors, flooring, countertops, accessories as needed (We will shop for you, or with you—whatever your preference)
  • Assistance in securing furniture rentals for staging empty rooms
  • Assistance in preparing your home for showing, including room arrangement, placement of artwork and accessories, all finishing touches
  • Before and after photos

Extra services: All services required in addition to half or full day staging are available at an hourly rate. This includes additional time needed to stage larger homes, extensive services in selecting appropriate upgrades and accessories, and all other miscellaneous home staging services.
