Drop That Picture!

One of the easiest ways to make a room feel larger is to lower the pictures by four inches. Because people are accustomed to seeing pictures hung at a certain height, this little trick convinces the mind that the ceilings are higher. Doesn’t that sound a lot easier than raising the ceiling by four inches?

Sparkle shine

In order to get top dollar for your home, everything must “sparkle shine”  from top to bottom. If you don’t have the  time or desire to clean properly, hire someone to come in for an overhaul, and then once a week to freshen things up. This will be money well-spent that will yield a significant return when you sell your home.

Think like a buyer…

Before you list your home, one of the most important things you can do is take an objective look around.  It’s important to think like a buyer, but that may be difficult to do in your own home.  Another set of eyes will often pick up on things that you simply aren’t noticing.  Bringing in a home stager is one of the best ways to make sure you don’t miss anything!
